Dr Audrey Camilleri qualified from University of Malta in 1996. After a period in general practice she did a postgraduate Masters degree in paediatric dentistry at Eastman Dental Institute, London in 2000. She worked for one year at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, Edinburgh where she achieved her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Camilleri is a lecturer of Paediatric dentistry at the Faculty of Dental Surgery ,University of Malta where she enjoys sharing her knowledge with aspiring dental students . She is a member of British and International Society of Paediatric Denitstry and has lectured nationally and internationally on subjects related to paediatric dentistry. She also attends yearly paediatric dentistry meetings to keep herselff updated on recent technology and research
She is a principal partner at the practice and she values continuing education and professional development both for herself and her staff. Her research interests include trauma to anterior teeth, caries in baby teeth and management of the apprehensive patient with the use of inhalation sedation (laughing gas).
She is also a committee member of the Dental Association of Malta and her role is international/EU Liaison officer. She attends twice yearly Council of European Dentists meetings to discuss EU regulations affecting the dental profession.
